The short version: we collect almost nothing.
Last updated: 23 August 2026. This page in one sentence: we're a meta-search site — you search, we hand you off to the airline to book, and we try to know as little about you as possible in the process.
No account, no login, no tracking pixels
You can search ARATJAPAN without an account. We don't require an email or a phone number. We don't operate a tracking pixel. We haven't installed any analytics tools yet; when we do (Vercel Analytics, planned), it will be a cookieless product that reports aggregate visit counts and nothing personal.
Search terms sit in the URL
When you search Manila → Tokyo, that shows up as /search?from=Manila&to=Tokyo&departDate=…. Nothing more is stored on our servers. We hit our flight provider (Amadeus, when live), receive results, render them, and forget the search. Server logs from the hosting platform (Vercel) may briefly record IP + URL for abuse prevention.
What happens when you click a flight
“View Deal” takes you to the airline (or an OTA partner). At that point you leave ARATJAPAN and their privacy policy applies. We may earn a small commission on bookings made through partner links — see the disclosure in the footer of every page. Commission never affects our ranking; the Sulit engine can't see partner status.
Cookies
We use one browser storage item: your theme preference (light / dark / system), held in localStorage on your device. It never leaves your browser.
Data we don't want
We deliberately don't collect: your real name (never asked), your travel history across sessions, your loyalty program IDs, your card details (we can't take payment — we're not that kind of site).
